My rsync work is deliberately conservative. The public contribution thread is mostly about tightening behaviour, improving portability and adding anti-regression coverage around old and security-sensitive maintenance processes.
Focus
- Regression tests for daemon, ownership, files-from and platform behaviour.
- Small portability fixes that keep Unix variants covered.
- Issue and PR review that separates actionable bugs from noise.
